SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a frontal device for harvesting the stalked material with the dividers of stems, cutting devices for cutting-off the stalked material, transporting means for transporting the cut-off stalked material, several tearing units distributed over the working width of the frontal device for separation of fruit from the stems, respectively, with at least one tearing roller and a tearing slit corresponding to the tearing roller, a grinding device correlated with each tearing unit for the stem, and a device for collecting and combining the fruit separated. To create the frontal device in which the losses of the stalked material, when the frontal device is moved along the rows of plants not precisely, are smaller, it is suggested that each tearing unit is correlated to at least one support for the stem made with the ability of actuation, which is located in the direction (F) of motion in front of the corresponding tearing unit and is located in height at a distance from the tearing unit and the cutting devices. The supports for the stem are located on one or several brackets made with the ability of rotation, and the supports for the stem are made with the ability of displacement in the longitudinal direction and/or in height (H) and/or their angle of inclination and/or with the ability of adjustment in their number of revolutions.
