FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to multilayer piezoelectric element containing layers of a piezoelectric material and electrodes including an inner electrode. The layers of the piezoelectric material and electrodes are laid in turn; each layer of the piezoelectric material contains metal oxide of a perovskite type as the base component represented by the general formula (1), and manganese included into the composition of metal oxide of the perovskite type (Ba1-xCax)a(Ti1-yZry)O3, where 1.00≤a≤1.01, 0.02≤x≤0.30, 0.020≤y≤0.095 and y≤x (1); and manganese content on the metal base in regard to 100 weight parts of metal oxide of the perovskite type is 0.02 weight parts or more and 0.40 weight parts or less. The invention is also referred to the piezoelectric element, multilayer piezoelectric element, fluid discharge head, fluid discharge device, ultrasonic motor, optical device and electronic device.
EFFECT: lead-free piezoelectric element that operates steadily in a wide range of temperatures.
