FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering, and can be used to control the electric machine without use of position sensor. In the control device the storage unit (5) stores values of currents flowing when the voltage supply unit (3) supplies the voltage vectors to three-phase rotor electric machine (1). Position estimation unit (6) estimates position of the electric machine rotor (1) in stop position based on saved current values. Regulation unit (7) regulates minimum necessary time Ta of commands supply, it ensures the electric machine (1) switching to state of the magnetic saturation by supply of the voltage vector to ensure possibility to estimate the rotor position. The regulation unit (7) for regulation estimation uses value |ΔY| of differential total admittance received by division of the total value of the saved currents by voltage amplitude of the voltage vector command, when the voltage vector is supplied at the supply time specified as optional supply time Tm, and regulates the supply time based on |ΔY|.

EFFECT: increased estimation accuracy of the magnetic saturation degree, and minimum necessary supply time, that ensures estimation of the rotor position.
