FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a facility (2) of rotary electric machine current detection, formed in the rotary electric machine (1), a facility (3) of position evaluation to generate the evaluated position θP in compliance with currents of the rotary electric machine; a facility (4) of control to generate voltage commands in accordance with the evaluated position θP; a facility (5) of width-pulse modulation to generate logical signals exposed to width-pulse modulation, in accordance with voltage commands and cycle of switching used to control width-pulse modulation; and a facility (6) to apply AC voltage to actuate the rotary electric machine in accordance with logical signals. Voltage commands supplied by a control facility (4) are produced by superposition of position detection voltages, every of which has a cycle equal to m-multiple value of switching cycle and which are different in phase, onto voltages of main harmonics to actuate the rotary electric machine, between the appropriate phases.

EFFECT: provision of the possibility to obtain information on rotor position without usage of its position sensor.
