FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: respirator comprises on a person's head the fastener with an air cleaning filter, a mask with check valve and sealing elements. The air cleaning filter is contained in the occipital part of the head. The respirator is provided with an air duct that connects the air cleaning filter with the mask. The mask is made in the form of a breathing bag. When air is inhaled from the breathing bag 5 the pressure in the bag is reduced, which reduces the volume of the latter. Simultaneously the breathing bag is filled through the air duct 6 with the air purified through the filter 3. After completion of inhalation the air pressures inside and outside the bag are balanced, the bag is straightened and continues to fill with purified air. The air exhaled from the lungs and mouth through the mouthpiece 10 and the valve 12 is removed outwards.

EFFECT: improvement of working conditions, improvement of the respirator performance, and simplification of its structure.
