FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication, particularly to techniques for controlling shipborne communication systems, and can be used to facilitate communication on surface ships and submarine ships. The system comprises five modules connected to each other via an intrasystem transport network installed on the ship in the form of our subnetworks; in addition, the second and fourth modules are connected to a wireless broadband access device for setting up a tactical cooperation network in the 5725-6425 MHz frequency range with other facilities fitted with similar devices, which are a stand-alone article consisting of an IEEE 802.16-2004 standard base station, and the interaction and communication devices used are multifunctional subscriber terminals, each consisting of a multifunctional device and an IEEE 802.16-2004 standard radio interface adapter and providing IP telephony, videotelephone communication, email communication, exchange of document (telegraph and fax) information between shipborne communication system subscribers operating on both stationary and mobile facilities.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the shipborne communication system.
