SUBSTANCE: multifunctional user terminal for transmitting/receiving documented fax or telegraph information, carried out simultaneously over multiple different communication channels, comprises a processor, a memory unit, input/output device controllers and a highway adapter, a storage device and an Ethernet controller, an interface node comprising S1-I interface controllers for digital medium-rate channels, RS-232 for tone frequency channels using modems and S2-TLG for digital low-rate channels, wherein the terminal further includes a node for interfacing and switching voice transmissions, an IP interface node which facilitates reception-transmission of video, IP telephony, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the multifunctional user terminal by enabling communication of different voice transmissions, video, IP telephony, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals.
