FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: filtering element comprises load-bearing frame (1) of rods (2) and filtering shell (4) connected to it by welding (3). The shell (4) is formed by profile wires (5) placed at a certain pitch and forming slots (6) between neighbouring wires (5) for the purpose of filtering. On surface of wire (5) of filtering shell (4) from the side (8) of delivery of filtered substance there are filtering channels (9). Channels (9) connect slots (6) placed between neighbouring wires (5) and oriented from one slot to another one.
EFFECT: increased capacity of the filtering element, reduced dimensions and specific consumption of materials.
