FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of filter elements and can be used for fine water purification. Cartridge filter element comprises a filtering surface fixed on the frame, which is formed by laying along a spiral of stainless wire of triangular cross-section with a filtering slot between turns of wire, the filter element is multilayered; frame of each filter layer includes rigidly installed vertical rods from stainless steel, between which there are installed, except for the last layer, wave-like or zigzag wire elements with cross-section of the same standard size as vertical rods, with possibility of volume separation between vertical rods into separate cells, on the external surface of the frame of each filtering layer a filtering surface is rigidly fixed by way of triangular/trapezoidal section stainless steel along the spiral with a filtering slot between turns of the wire with expansion of the slot in the filtration direction, all filtering layers including a frame and a filtering surface from a triangular/trapezoidal wire are placed in the cartridge coaxially with a gap between layers, sufficient for assembly of layers without tension, at least with a gap of not more than 1/20–1/10 of thickness of the filtering layer, standard size of the wire and size of the filtering layer slit are reduced in subsequent layers in the filtration direction with observance of the condition, at which the slot is up to 1/6–1/5 of the size of the triangle/trapezium base in the wire cross-section, wherein with reduction of filtering slot size, wire height is not reduced to provide structural strength and reliability of layer, and ratio between wire width and height is changed, as well as to provide a "slot:wire laying ratio" ratio of at least 0.20, a slot in the last filtering layer in the filtration direction has a size to provide a given refining fineness, at least technologically achieved value of 0.010–0.005 mm, and the size of the slot of the previous layers is reduced from the outer layer to the subsequent layers either by linear relationship or according to the functional relationship between the particle size and weight in the volume of the purified water, inner surface of last layer with least slot between turns of wire forms cleaned water outlet channel, wherein the channel cross-section along the cartridge axis exceeds the total live cross-section of the filter slots in the last layer in the filtration direction, wherein the outlet channel cross-section is selected based on the condition that the channel flow rate is not more than 1 meter per second with provision of the laminar water flow mode in the output channel, each filter layer is closed from above and from below by end circular plugs, and cartridge as a whole in lower part is closed by plug, which is made integral with plug, which is aligned without interference with inner surface of outlet channel, and in upper part cartridge is equipped with sealed cover with branch pipe for purified water outlet, equipped with means of installation and attachment of cartridge in working vertical position in filtered medium.
EFFECT: increased fineness of cleaning with simultaneous increase of surface of filtering layer, and consequently, and efficiency of cleaning, reduced time for filter cleaning and regeneration, increased cycle time between regenerations of filter due to arrangement of space for sediment placement.
