FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic assignment of coding policies to various devices. Claimed process comprises the steps that follow. a) Analysis of criteria is performed for devices which, at least, describe the device user, device location and device software. b) Control device is used to get the magnitudes of criteria for, at least, one device, which include both Boolean and discrete magnitudes that describe at least, device users, device location and device software. c) Control means is used to define the device coefficient proceeding from obtain the magnitudes of criteria, i.e. numerical value calculated from obtained magnitudes of criteria. d) Means of analysis is used to assign the coding policy on the basis of a definite coefficient of the device.
EFFECT: accelerated automated process exploiting the definite coefficient of the device.
