FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of water content of air flow determination. Under this method three thermal elements are used, one element is work, two other are compensating elements. They are installed under similar conditions of the blowing by air flow at the temperature maintained at levels ensuring complete evaporation of the caught by them water droplets. At that two compensating elements are located symmetrically relatively to each other, and have same temperature, but different from the work element. Convection heat transfer coefficient is determined for the work thermal element as average value of calculated convection heat transfer coefficients of both compensating thermal elements.

EFFECT: accuracy of water content measurement is ensured.
