FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical, oil and gas industry. The method includes producing sulphur from acidic gases containing hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide in two catalytic reactors, post-treatment of the tail gas, degassing the produced sulphur under pressure in a degassing column with removal of hydrogen sulphide from the sulphur using heated blow-out air. The degassing gas is fed to the initial stage of post-treatment of the tail gas or for obtaining a product therefrom via chemical bonding of hydrogen sulphide with a triazine, by bubbling the degassing gas through a layer of a solution of said substance in water or hydrocarbons, followed by discharging the purified gas into a flue-pipe or the input of a tail gas after-burning unit with tail gas post-treatment.
EFFECT: invention increases the degree of processing hydrogen sulphide into sulphur and reduces emission of sulphur-containing substances into the atmosphere.
