FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multistage membrane distillation. This device comprises heating stage, several condensation/evaporation stage and condensation stage. Fluid in concentration to be upped is forced through said stages. Note here that every condensation/evaporation stage comprises condenser and evaporator. Note here that appropriate condenser comprises first vapour chamber confined partially by condensation wall. Appropriate evaporator comprises second vapour chamber partially confined by membrane wall, vapour-permeable and fluid-impermeable. Appropriate condensation/evaporation stage has flow channel arranged between condenser and evaporator abutting thereon. Fluid to be concentrated flows in the latter to get heated therefrom. Vapour formed from said fluid penetrates through membrane wall into second vapour camber. Note here that vapour formed at previous stage is fed to condenser of the next stage via vapour channel and to the next stage.

EFFECT: invention increases operating properties of the device for multistage membrane distillation.
