FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: expansion joint includes a housing connected to upper and lower nipples. In the upper nipple there is a cavity for connection to an oil filled cavity of the electric motor. A pipe for connection of the expansion joint to the electric motor stator is connected to the lower nipple. Between nipples inside the housing there is a spacer the ends of which are connected to adjacent nipples by annular elastic diaphragms. An internal pipe located in holes of the nipples and the spacer is installed in the housing. Between the adjacent nipple and the spacer there are annular cavities restricted on the outer side by the housing. Guide bushes are in-series installed on the internal pipe in the downward direction. One of the above bushes is connected to the upper nipple and two others are connected to the spacer. The lower bush is connected to the lower nipple. Adjacent ends of the bushes are connected by annular diaphragms, each of which is located in the above annular cavity and made in the form of a bubble in the initial working state. In the housing there are radial holes. Normally closed check valves are in-series installed in the upper nipple. Between each diaphragm and the internal pipe there is a cavity interconnected through an annular duct and a longitudinal duct to a cavity provided in the upper nipple, and the same cavity is interconnected with the cavity of the upper nipple through gaps between the internal pipe and the bushes, as well as through gaps between the internal pipe and tubes.
