FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil production and can be used in installations for hydroprotection of submerged oil-filled electric motors for electric centrifugal pumps, used for production of formation fluid from wells. Unit for hydraulic protection of the submersible motor is designed for installation in the upper part of the engine from the pump side and contains a shaft, a head, thrust and radial bearings, an end seal, at least one compensation module. Module consists of two nipples connected by a cylindrical body, a compensating element, separating the compensating module into two cavities. Unit is provided with a device for forced movement of the compensating element, using the energy of the compressed gas. Device comprises a cavity hydraulically, connected to one of the cavities of the compensating module and constituting a closed region with it.
EFFECT: invention is aimed to increase the reliability and service life of the unit by avoiding the ingress of formation fluid into the chamber of the compensating element.
