FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gear box contains a casing with oil bath, in it at least one bottom tooth-wheel of the gear is immersed. From outside the casing has cooling ribs. The ribs are located on the casing wall at the side of rotating wheel output from the oil bath.
EFFECT: reduced weight and size of the gear box.
