FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: oil bath contains casing with liquid lubricating material, in which the bottom tooth-wheels of different gear steps are immersed. The bath parts occupied with the lubricating material, excessive for normal lubricating of the gearing elements, are filled with solid material, inert in relation to the lubricating material, ensuring the required clearances between the filling material and gearing elements. Solid material is rigidly secured in the bath casing.

EFFECT: lubricating material saving.
