FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to study of thermophysical properties of materials and can be used for determination of heat conductivity of materials. Methods for description of non-homogeneity and determination of heat conductivity of materials provide for heating of surface of specimens of non-homogeneous materials during movement of specimens relative to each other, a heating source and a temperature recording unit. First, parameters of measurements are controlled so that the best spatial resolution and the required error of measurements can be provided. Distribution of initial temperature on surface of specimens is measured before and after heating, and based on temperature change along the movement line of the temperature recording unit, non-homogeneity of specimens is determined. Heat conductivity of homogeneous sections of the test specimens is determined by means of a calculation, thus using recorded values of excess temperatures corresponding to these homogeneous sections of the test specimens.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of obtained data.
