FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to means for the delivery of medications by implanted devices, controlled by the magnetic field. The device consists of a body, an external periphery and a covering, which takes at least a part of the external periphery and includes the following layers in the order from internal to external: the first insulating layer, a layer of a magnetic material with positive and negative magnetocaloric effect of not less than 3 K/T, a layer of a sensitive material, which contains an active substance and is capable of holding and controlled release of the active substance, the second insulating layer, permeable for the active substance. The method of the controlled release of medications consists in implanting the device into the patient's body and influencing the implant by the magnetic field to release the active substance.
EFFECT: application of the invention makes it possible to increase safety for surrounding healthy tissues when the medication is released.
