FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: external non-destructive test defectoscope contains a magnetic retrieval system which comprises the spring-loaded unit of converters with measuring sensors for measurement of magnetic field of scattering above the surface of the studied object, the magnetization unit, the electronics unit and the transporting elements. Besides, the magnetic retrieval system has the device for blocking of magnetic field that allows to remove without difficulty the defectoscope from the studied object after completion of works. The unit of converters included two-coordinate encoders which are designed as a single assembly with the unit of converters and the spring-loaded suspension. Two-coordinate encoders are intended for conversion of linear or angular movement and used as limiters for the unit of converters, and the suspension bracket springs provide continuous compression of two-coordinate encoders to the studied surface. The transporting elements are implemented as spherical supports which structurally are a part of the unit of converters and are capable to move along both coordinates of the studied object surface equally.

EFFECT: simplification of process of reorientation of defectoscope to its longitudinal or transversal movement on the studied object surface.
