FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process relates to production of wire article from two-phase stainless steel, a thin bar making the blank. It comprises the steps that follow. Wire bar surface is roughened. Bearing surface is applied. Thin bar is finished with the help of finishing female die including hard alloy. Thin bar surface is roughened. Bearing coating is applied on thin bar surface. Wire is drawn to target size. Used finishing female die features chamfer angle at face surface of 10-30 degrees, face angle of 10-25 degrees, rear angle of 3-10 degrees, chamber width at face surface of 0.10-0.5 mm and radius of cutting edge rounding of 0.02-0.08 mm.
EFFECT: higher article fatigue strength.
