FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flash trimmers. Proposed device comprises fixed 1 and inner rotary 3 casings, circular table to hold cutters 7, drive 11 to rotate circular table around article 9 and drive to move it axially, and article clamp 8. Casing 3 is keyed to circular table 5 and arranged to be driven by V-belt 10 inside fixed casing 1 provided with two bearings. Spring-loaded tool holders (b) are arranged on circular table 5. Rolls 15 are arranged on outer side of said holders to stay in contact with taper surface of rotating casing 3 to allow cutting tools move toward article axis in displacement of circular table in trimming start and, in contact with inner cylindrical surface of casing 1, said rolls define trimming height. Cutting tools are arranged opposed in their holders. Circular table drive is made up of hydraulic cylinder 12 with hollow rod to allow welded article 9 to pass in flash trimming. Circular table 5 is secured to run in bearings on hydraulic cylinder rod 13.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of flash trimming.
