FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the bearing ring (1) with the flange (7) which is made of high-quality shaped profile roll stock from high carbon steel and contains at least one welding joint made by flash-butt welding. The ring (1) is designed with internal peripheral surface and external peripheral surface. One peripheral surface has a race way for rolling bodies. The ring (1) in addition contains the flange (7) implemented with a possibility of providing fastening of the ring (1) to the mechanical element. The flange (7) protrudes from the ring (1) in essence in the radial direction. Besides, the invention relates to the method of fabrication of similar uniform ring (1) with the flange (7) from high-quality shaped profile roll stock which is not in the longitudinal direction.
EFFECT: creation of uniform bearing ring with flange is achieved in simple manner.
