FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pellets used as combustible material. Pelletising press (3) comprises at least one female die (4) with multiple bores (13) for compaction of biomass (1) and at least one forming roller (5) running over said die (4). It includes at least one drive of female die (4) and/or roller (5). Female die (4) consists of at least two die segments (7, 7′…). To support said segments relative to roller (5) at least one support (9) is used. Said support (9) has at least one opening (8) for exit of pellets (10) from female die (4) bores (13). Butt edge (2) of female die segments is located at, in fact, at angle (16) to roller (5) swinging line (14) which is other than zero.

EFFECT: termination of local damages or female die partial wear at minimum costs.
