FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for treatment of vegetable oils and/or animal fats includes an operation of vacuum steam purification, condensation of neutral oils from the steam phase at an increased temperature, maintenance and return into the steam-stripping column, delivery of water steam, volatile fatty acids and nutritive microelements, together with other volatile substances, into the cold condensation zone and condensation of volatile fatty acids and nutritive microelements, together with other volatile substances, in the cold condensation zone, formation of condensate and a flow of water steam, uncondensible gases together with traces of fatty acids and other light hydrocarbon vapours.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce losses of neutral oils, to extract nutritive microelements with minimum losses and in enriched flows and to enhance the purity of the flow of free fatty acids produced.
