FIELD: fat and oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: oil refining equipment contains a vaporizing column with a nozzle and differs in that a) the nozzle has a specific surface area of 100-750 m2/m3, 100-500 m2/m3, 150-250 m2/m3, b) the column has at least one inlet for a vaporizing agent and/or for oil, c) the ratio of a height to a diameter of the column is 0.1-10, 0.5-5, 1-4.9, 1.4-4.5, 1.6-2.8. The use of oil refining equipment for decomposition of products of oxidation of triglycerides, diglycerides, monoglycerides, and/or fatty acids is proposed. A method for oil deodorization in oil refining equipment includes following stages: a) passage of food oil through the vaporizing column of refining equipment by points 1-6, at a temperature of 170-220°C, with absolute pressure of 0.5-10 mbar, b) introduction of the vaporizing agent into an oil flow, and bringing of oil to a contact with the vaporizing agent, c) removal of volatile substances from oil, d) collection of deodorized oil.
EFFECT: invention allows for an increase in a speed and reduction in a process temperature during oil refining for destruction, decomposition, or cleavage of oxidation products.
