FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises the use of nutrient media with different pH values. And for germination of seeds of white lupine the nutrient solutions are prepared taking into account the chemical elements required for plant growth and development. Then the quality cation-anion composition is maintained the same, studying the germination of seeds in daily removable and non-removable solutions with different pH values, strictly controlling the acidity of the solutions throughout the experiment. The evaluation criterion of the optimum interval of pH is taken as spontaneous reaction of seedlings of white lupine to change the pH to 6.0-7.0, regardless of the initial acidity of the solution. The rate of seed germination in the non-removable solution is higher than in the removable one.
EFFECT: method enables to accelerate the germination of seeds and promotes earlier taking of solar energy necessary for photosynthesis.
