FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for clonal micropropagation of southern catalpa (Catalpa bignonioides), comprising obtaining microplants in vitro from segments of aseptic plants of southern catalpa, where microplants are obtained from segments of seedlings of southern catalpa seeds, cultivating on a nutrient medium of Murashige and Skoog, which includes additionally at the stage of seed germination 1 g/l of activated carbon, and at the stage of propagation kinetin 1 mg/l and 1 g/l of activated carbon, and grown under conditions of illumination with LED lamps of red and blue spectrum in ratio of 70% and 30% respectively.
EFFECT: invention provides faster production of high-quality genetically homogeneous planting material.
