METHOD OF BIOTRANSFORMATION OF CONTAMINATED SOIL Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC B09C1/10

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology. For biotransformation of oil and drill slurry the contaminated soil is invaded with natural black soil generating organisms. The mixture containing black soil generating earthworms of the second and third generations is applied into the soil, which are grown under greenhouse conditions by adapting the worms of the first generation to the preliminary prepared mixture. This mixture consists of 52-60% of slurry of the type that contaminated the soil, and 48-40% of organic household wastes and/or sawdust. It is infused for 20-24 hours at a temperature of 20-25°C for the subsequent invasion it with earthworms of the first generation. The mixture is then kept for 17-30 days until the worms of the second and third generations appear in it, intended for the treatment of slurry-contaminated soil. The mixture with earthworms of the second and third generations is applied in the soil at a volume ratio of the soil and the mixture of 10-15:1.

EFFECT: invention provides maximum reduction in the inhibitory effect of pollutants on the germination of plant seeds, increases the efficiency of biotransformation of contaminated soils.
