IMPROVEMENT OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF ADSORPTION SEPARATION Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC B01D15/18 C07C7/12

Abstract RU 2564407 C1

FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: one of the versions provides for use in the method of separation at constant pressure of an adsorbed compound from the raw substance flow, which contains two or more chemical compounds, by adsorption separation in a pseudo flowing layer contained in one or several chambers with several adsorbent layers, which have a variety of access points, where each raw substance flow and the desorbent flow are injected inwards, and each of the extract flow that contains the above adsorbed compound and the raffinate flow is separately removed from one or several chambers with the adsorbent during the processing cycle through offset individual access points. At least one circulating flow contains varying fractions of raw substance, desorbent, extract and raffinate, which circulate through one or several chambers with the desorbent under action of pumping at the flow rate that varies during the processing cycle at least by 10%. The method involves actuation of one or more pumps in which one or more circulating flows circulate, due to connection of at least one pump to an actuating device with varying speed, and additionally including manipulation of speed of the pump brought into action by a drive with varying speed by using a forecast load control algorithm. The above forecast load control algorithm forecasts in advance the changes in the flow rate till acquisition of actual data on the flow rate during transition of the layer in one or more chambers with several adsorbent layers in connection with indexing of a turning gate used for offset of individual access points for preliminary setting of speed of the pump brought into action by the drive with variable speed.

EFFECT: energy saving.
