FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for regeneration of solid catalyst particles. Methods include introduction of waste catalyst particles into burning zone, formed in regenerator with continuous catalyst flow. When introduced into burning zone, particles of catalyst, containing platinum group metal, carry coke deposits on the surface. In claimed method combustion gas with temperature, at least, equal 490°C and oxygen content, at least 0.5 mol %, is supplied into burning zone. In burning zone coke deposits on catalyst particles are burnt by means of combustion gas. Catalyst particles move from burning zone into halogenation zone, formed in regenerator with continuous catalyst flow, with catalyst particles being subjected to oxyhalogenation to disperse platinum group metal with obtaining regenerated catalyst particles.
EFFECT: effective regeneration of solid catalyst particles.
