FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and can be used in electrochemistry to obtain anticorrosion protective copper coatings. A method of producing a copper corrosion inhibitor and specifically aniline oligomers is disclosed. The method comprises oxidative polymerisation of the aniline monomer in the presence of laccase enzyme, molecular oxygen, 1,4-phenylenediamine or N-phenyl-1,4-phenylenediamine and an acid dopant, dissolved in the reaction mixture. The polymerisation reaction is stopped at the step of forming aniline oligomers dissolved in tetrahydrofuran by adding, to the reaction medium, 3% aqueous ammonia solution in an amount needed for the pH of the reaction medium to reach 9-12.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain tetrahydrofuran-soluble aniline oligomers in a single step in kinetically controlled mode and reduces formation of toxic by-products.
