FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device contains two circuits, each of which operates alternately respectively from positive and negative half waves of mains voltage. Each of these circuits contains the networks which are series connected to phase and zero conductors downstream the metering device, the avalanche diode and the storage capacitor. The point of connection of the named circuit elements is connected through the load resistor with the emitter - collector junction of the power transistor the other junction electrode of which is connected to the phase conductor of the network. Avalanche diodes of two circuits are connected to the phase conductor of the network by different electrodes - the cathode for the circuit operated from positive half-cycles of mains voltage, and the anode for the circuit operated from negative half-cycles of mains voltage, and power transistors of these circuits provide their conductivity of discharge current through the respective load resistors. Each of these power transistors is open for the respective half wave of mains voltage and reliably closed for another half wave of mains voltage, for this purpose the step-down transformer the primary winding of which is connected to phase and zero conductors of the network downstream the metering device is used, and its two separate secondary windings are connected to the operating electrodes of "base emitter" junction of power transistors through the limiting resistors.
