FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises fusing of the wastes in induction crucible melting furnace, chemical analysis of produced melt and addition thereto of deficient alloying elements as the compounds of tungsten, and/or vanadium, and/or molybdenum, and/or cobalt, and/or chromium to get the steel grade-type composition. Said alloying elements are prepared separately as nano-structured powders in amounts required for getting of said fusible steel grade-type composition. Now, they are mixed to a homogeneous mix to be compacted to 1.5-3 mm pellets to be added to the melt.
EFFECT: higher serviceability of cutting tool, hardness, impact resistance and plasticity.
