FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: two-degrees-of-freedom kinematic pair comprises two links - cylinder (2) and double corset (1), their surfaces have different curvature and enter in point contact with each other. The cylinder (2) is made straight elliptical, held by double corset (1). Curvature radius of generatrix of concave surface of the corset (1) is ensured by large length of small semi-axis of ellipse of cylinder (2) base. The kinematic pair is made with two degrees of freedom reproducing independent translational and rotational movements relatively two of Cartesian ordinates.
EFFECT: creation of two-degrees-of-freedom kinematic pair reproducing set of two independent movements - translational and rotational relatively to two axis of the Cartesian coordinate system by elimination of the rotation relatively to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder.
