SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric submerged arc welding of steel in particular to fluxes. Liquid glass-based flux-additive, intended for admixing to welding fluxes, contains dust of electric filters of aluminium production and sodium liquid glass with component ratio, wt %: dust of aluminium production electric filters 40-60, sodium liquid glass 60-40.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase general level of mechanical properties of welded seam and stabilise level of welded connection hardness.
