FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of methanol synthesis in isothermal reactors. Method includes obtaining feeding flow of fresh gas in reforming or gasification; supply of fresh gas into closed synthesis system; conversion of fresh gas into methanol in catalytic medium, with heat being directly withdrawn from catalytic medium, which makes medium isothermal; condensation of methanol, with obtaining liquid raw methanol and recirculation gas, which is supplied into recirculation system in closed synthesis system, with catalytic medium including multitude of isothermal catalytic layers; part of feeding flow of fresh gas is mixed with recirculation gas, with obtaining gaseous mixture of fresh gas and recirculation gas, and part of gaseous mixture is directed between first and second catalytic layer of medium; gaseous mixture of fresh gas and recirculation gas is mixed with flow, output from first catalytic layer, with obtaining feeding flow of second catalytic layer.
EFFECT: invention provides effective synthesis of methanol.
