FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of controlling the process of dissolving sylvinite ore includes controlling the supply of ore depending on the content of the useful component in input streams, measuring temperature in the input streams, measuring temperature of the ready solution, measuring density and consumption of the dissolving solution; determining content of sodium chloride in the dissolving solution from the content of the useful component, density and temperature; calculating ore supply; additionally measuring content of magnesium chloride in the ready solution, content of potassium chloride in the solid phase of the halite refuse, consumption thereof and water consumption for dissolution; based on the consumption of the dissolving solution, content of water therein and the measured water consumption for dissolution, calculating the total consumption of water for dissolution; determining ore consumption required to obtain a ready solution with KCl saturation αKCl=1. The calculated ore consumption values are sent as settings to the control system of weighing batchers for ore fed for dissolution.
EFFECT: invention simplifies control of the process of dissolving sylvinite ore.
