FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to airfield and onboard landing systems. Claimed system comprises ground optical radiator, a beacon, located at runway start and radiation receiver onboard the aircraft. At least two radiation receivers are located on both sides of runway composed of monophoton devices with preset coordinates. Aircraft houses at least one radiation receiver composed of monophoton device and at least one UV radiator-beacon. Signals of the latter are recorded by ground radiation receivers and used to determine aircraft elevation and azimuth.
EFFECT: higher reliability and safety of landing.
