FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of aircraft (AC) automatic landing. For the aircraft automatic landing, determining the aircraft (AC) spatial position by means of on-board navigation equipment, receiving the runway (RW) image from the optical sensor, from the aerodrome spatial data base spatial information is obtained on the runway, on which the aircraft landing is carried out, according to the said data performing the runway reference lines relative coordinates list formation, using the radar sensor, forming the additional runway image, combining the images obtained from the optical and radar sensors, forming the combined runway image, fixing the image frame capturing time, performing projection of reference lines on composite image of runway taking into account calibration parameters of optical sensor and the AC current spatial position according to the data from the on-board navigation equipment, in the vicinity of the projected reference lines, the runway lines detection on the image is performed, based on the difference between the detected runway lines pixel coordinates and the projected reference lines position, calculating the aircraft spatial position, obtained navigation data are used to generate aircraft flight control parameters in the form of deviations from glide path for their transmission to autopilot.
EFFECT: disclosed is method of aircraft automatic landing.
