FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: the gas-extinguishing installation for places of storage of tanks with flammable and combustible liquids in temporary settlements of population affected by disasters, comprises a control unit and a series-connected insulated tank of liquid carbon dioxide with the pipeline of supplying carbon dioxide and a lock and release device, distribution devices and distribution pipeline with sprinklers. The lock and release device is above the level of liquid carbon dioxide in the tank. Intake of carbon dioxide is carried out through the pipeline in the tank from the bottom part of the latter. The nozzle body consists of two coaxial cylindrical sleeves: the sleeve of larger diameter and the sleeve of smaller diameter. A screw is pressed into the nozzle body. The outer surface of the screw is a helical groove, and inside the screw a hole with a screw thread is made. A fitting is located coaxial to the sleeve of large diameter. Inside the fitting coaxially a cylindrical opening is made, passing to the diffuser located axially, which is connected to the cylindrical chamber. The end surface of the sleeve of smaller diameter is attached to obliquely arranged rods, and the rods are inclined away from the axis of the nozzle. On each rod the sprayers are fixed, made in the form of blades.

EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of extinguishing.
