SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to analyse an underground structure. Disclosed is a method of simulating a geological process, as a result of which a geological region is formed, the method comprising steps of: a/ determining (200) a model of a geological region, b/ obtaining (201) an observation result (Kobs) for a given parameter of the geological region, c/ determining (202) a zone of the model, called the relevant zone, for which the observation result obtained at step b/ is corresponding, d/ simulating (203) a geological process based on the model of the geological region determined at step a/, e/ estimating (204) the value of said parameter for the relevant zone of the model using the simulation results, f/ comparing (205) the observation result (Kobs) for said parameter, obtained at step b/, with the estimate
EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of obtained data.
