SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a measurement-conversion device for spectrally enabled registration of properties of optically detected radiation. The application describes a measurement-conversion device for spectrally enabled registration of optical detected radiation emitted from a document of value, moved in the specified direction via the zone of coverage of this measurement-conversion device, having a detecting device for spectrally enabled detection of radiation in at least one specified detected spectral area and issue of detection signals, reflecting at least one, first of all spectral, property of detected radiation, at least one reference emitter, which emits optical reference radiation, which depending on the position of the document of value relatively to the zone of coverage of the measurement-conversion device is at least partially introduced into the trajectory of detected beams in the detecting device and which has a spectrum with a narrow strip lying within the specified detected spectral area, and/or at least one spectrum with the border lying within the specified detected spectral area, and the device of control and processing, which is designed for use of detection signals, reflecting the property of reference radiation, for inspection and/or adjustment of the detecting device and/or during processing of detection signals, reflecting at least one property of detected radiation emitted from the document of value.
