FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices detecting valuable document movement and/or position against the gauge operation area. Measuring device includes detector for spectral resolution detection of radiation and transmission of measurement signals representing at least one spectral parameter of detected radiation, at least one reference emitter emitting reference optical radiation added to detected radiation and featuring a spectre with one structure within detected spectral band, radiation source used as photoelectric beam barrier transmitter or photodetector, control and processing device for detector signal reception and processing where measurement signals representing reference radiation parameter are used for check and/or adjustment of detector and for correction data preparation.
EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy due to data correction during data processing.
