SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. The frames for IEEE 802.11ac can bear information not presented in the inherited frames (for example, the frames corresponding to IEEE 802.11a/n), but these frames can be interpreted by the inherited devices using the inherited method. The method includes reception of the first frame containing the indication of the first MAC address, and processing of the accepted first frame based on the first MAC address. The method in addition includes reception of the second frame containing the indication of the second MAC address, and the second MAC address differs from the first MAC address; and processing of the accepted second frame, based on the second MAC address, so the processing of the second frame differs from the processing of the first frame.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in providing the use of different MAC addresses in frames for the same station to specify how to process these frames.
