SUBSTANCE: said invention is referred to an electrical machine, a rail vehicle and a rolling stock. The electrical machine has the main part with a stator of the electrical machine placed in it. The electrical machine has also a rotor shaft, which is installed so that it may be rotated by bearings in the main part. The electrical machine has an element of a current collecting device, which is fixed mechanically, without potential rotation, to the main part and thus taps off the voltage generated at the rotor shaft. At that the element of the current collecting device is coupled electrically to the main part through an ohmic resistor. The ohmic resistor is made as a thermal resistor with a positive temperature coefficient, at that the resistance value (R) of the ohmic resistor lies between 10 mOhm and 10 Ohm.

EFFECT: eliminating both bearing currents and reverse traction currents.
