FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a molecular sieve-based catalyst and a method for production thereof. Described is a molecular sieve-based catalyst for use in a fixed-bed reactor or in a fluidised-bed reactor. The catalyst contains, based on the weight of the catalyst, 90-100 wt % molecular sieve, 0-10 wt % binder and 0-10 wt % antiwear additive. The catalyst has pore volume of 0.1-0.5 ml/g, average pore diameter of 50-100 nm and porosity of 20-40%. The antiwear additive is selected from rode-shaped or needle-shaped inorganic materials having length/diameter ratio of 2-20. A method of producing a molecular sieve-based catalyst (versions) is also described.

EFFECT: obtaining a catalyst with high activity, large pore volume, average pore diameter and porosity, improved diffusion coefficient.
