The method of setting the working bodies of self-propelled grain harvesting combine is characterized in that the common discrete statistical information is entered to the on-board computer of the combine harvester, collected according to the test results of similar models of self-propelled grain combine harvesters, on the parameters: the efficiency of the combine work Y (W, qm, qa, C, D, T), where W is the performance on grain, qm is the loss behind the thresher, qa is the loss behind the adapter, C is the value of foreign impurity in the hopper, D is the value of crushing grain, T is specific fuel consumption; agricultural background Z (Y, Mg, Ms, D, Ds, S), where Y is grain yield, Mg is grain moisture, Ms is straw moisture, D is debris of field, Ds is down standing crops, S is shrivelling of grain; setting of the combine X (V, nb, no, se, sa, so, su), where V is velocity of the harvester, nb is speed of the threshing drum, no is the speed of cleaning fan, se is the gap at the inlet of the threshing device, sa is the gap at the outlet of the threshing device, so is the value of opening of the upper sieve blinds, su is the value of opening of the lower sieve blinds. The mathematical model is made taking into account this information Y (W, qm, qa, C, D, T)=f{Z (Y, Mg, Ms, D, Ds, S), X (V, nb, no, se, sa, so, su)} ensuring the implementation of the technological process on the parameters (W, qm, qa, C, D, T). The settings parameters (V, nb, no, se, sa, so, su) are calculated, solving the problem of optimisation on one of the performance indicators, with restrictions on the parameters of agricultural background (Y, Mg, Ms, D, Ds, S) and settings (V, nb, no, se, sa, so, su). Then according to the results of the ongoing work of the combine a new discrete statistical information of Yi, Zi, Xi is obtained, with the subsequent restructuring of the mathematical model Yi=f (Zi, Xi) and the calculation in it of new setting parameters (V, nb, no, se, sa, so, su)i, with the solution of the optimisation problem according to one of performance indicators each time at regular intervals.

EFFECT: when setting up the working bodies of the combine its efficiency of operation is increased.
