SUBSTANCE: method for quantitative determination of tetracyclic triterpenes in shelf fungus material or shelf fungus preparation includes exhaustive extraction of the material or preparation with petroleum ether with a boiling point of 40-70°C with volume ratio of the shelf fungus material or shelf fungus preparation to the solvent of 1:2, separating the obtained extract, removing the organic solvent and determining the amount of tetracyclic triterpenes in the obtained dry residue using a spectrophotometric method.

EFFECT: method improves the accuracy of quantitative determination of tetracyclic triterpenes in shelf fungus material or preparation owing to maximum selective extraction of said compounds.
