SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is aimed at the extension of functional possibilities of a device due to the selective synthesis of hydrocarbon or hypochlorite in the blood stream. A device for blood electrolysis consists of an electrode in the form of a wire for introduction into the blood vessel cavity along its axis and auxiliary electrodes, connected with the source of direct current. One of the auxiliary electrodes is placed on skin, and the second is submerged into a vessel with an electrolyte solution, with the vessel having a porous membrane, providing an electric contact between the skin and the electrolyte solution in the bottom part.

EFFECT: possibility of changing the polarity of the auxiliary electrodes is achieved.
